I’m a makeologist! It’s with a happy heart that I’m celebrating Sprouts Press acceptance into the Makeology show!

I know that I’ve shared a bit about myself here on the blog. But it’s just the basics, the expected ‘about me’ kind of information. This is why I’m pretty excited to share this next bit with you! 
For the entire month of February, I’ll be participating alongside my fellow Toronto Etsy Street Team members for a 29-day Instagram challenge! Each day is themed and a bit different from the one before, but combined they’ll bring together everything that is my little company. The holidays are over so it’s back to work! But don’t worry, I don’t actually have a case of ‘The Mondays’*, I love my work! And I’m pretty excited about the plans I’ve made for this year, more to come soon! 
I’m also pretty pumped for all the good things that will happen that I don’t know about yet. What can I say, I’m one of those weird people who enjoys change and surprises!
In the meantime, I’m still wrapping up the details of 2015 on the business side of Sprouts Press. I’m reminded of some of my favourite pieces from last year, especially this wintry blue Fancy Journal! Perfect for one of the first real days of winter here in Toronto.
*If you don’t know what it means to have a case of ‘the mondays’, you need to watch the movie ‘Office Space’. Seriously, it’s hilarious.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my little bookbinding company this year. Your love of books, support for handmade and kind words have made it a great journey. While I always appreciate these things, they were especially soothing on the tough days. Thank you.

It’s the last day of the Sprouts Press 365 project! It’s been a fun year sharing my journey as an artisan and creative small business owner. I’ve enjoyed all your comments and likes, I hope you’ve enjoyed it as well.
I plan to continue blogging about Sprouts Press, my creative process, goings-on and other book-ish content, but it won’t be every day. I’m looking forward to seeing what sort of content I’m capable of on a more relaxed schedule, and sharing the growth of my little company. In the meantime, enjoy this collage of many of the books I’ve shared with you over the year! That’s a lot of books!!

I’m always in awe of the weather here in Toronto. Yesterday was -40c, today a balmy -20c. I know, I know, it’s nothing compared to the weather of the maritimes, or probably the prairies. But still . . . .
Either way, I’m staying inside and getting some serious project planning, 2015 show scheduling and general housekeeping done. I’m super excited for a few big projects this year and cannot wait to share them with you!
