The Art & Craft of Tiny Books
This two-day class explores 4 different mini book structures, each teaching different bookmaking skills.

We’ll re-purpose old books, use fancy papers, and bits and remnants from previous projects. There will be time to play with materials and personalize your set of books, making them perfect for gifting or keeping.

Bookbinding Sampler Workshop for Beginners
In this sampler-style bookbinding workshop students will learn the tools of the trade with easy, softcover bookbinding techniques to create unique, handmade books. Everyone will leave with three finished notebooks, made by (their own!) hand.

Printmaking + Bookbinding: Introduction to Edition Book Making
Learn the joys of combining printmaking with bookbinding to create your own mini-edition of 7 softcover notebooks!  In this 2-day class, students will learn the basics of relief printing, tools, and tips for successful printmaking.  Then we will craft these printed papers into a handsome edition of 7 softcover notebooks using a simple, yet attractive stitch.

When: 2 days, Saturday-Sunday, Mar 9th – 10th 2019, 10am till 5pm each day.

Hard Cover Arrow Stitch Book
This one-day class will teach students how to craft their own hard cover journal using the Arrow Stitch.  First an introduction to the tools of the trade, and the basics of constructing a hard cover from scratch.  Then how to craft the cover into a journal.  This is a hands-on class and everyone will leave with a finished project.

Painted Covers Buttonhole Binding
Join us for a day of creative bookbinding! First, students will learn some basic paper decorating techniques, the tools of the trade and an introduction to bookbinding. Then, we’ll transform these papers into covers and craft journals using the Buttonhole stitch. This is a hands-on class, and everyone leaves with a finished project, beginners are welcome.

When: Sunday, June 23 2019, 10am – 5pm
