It’s official! The coundown is on to the 2nd annual Etsy Made in Canada: Toronto! The show will be at the MaRS building again this year, showcasing the best of the best of Canadian Etsy sellers here in the city!

There are some sweet surprises planned for this year, so keep your eyes peeled! And if you’re eager to get one of the free swag bags, be sure to get there early! There are only 100 of them and last year people started lining up hours in advance.

Last Days of Summer

Day 332/365Technically summer is still on till September 21 here in Canada, but it feels different with the start of school less than a week away.

Join me on Sunday September 13 for the next bookbinding workshop at Graven Feather! I’ll be teaching the Arrow Stitch and applying it to a hardcover technique. This is a hands-on class and everyone will leave with a finished project!

It’s hard to believe, but the end of summer is just around the corner. With that in mind, I’m holding a sale in my Etsy shop to make way for new fall and holiday products! I’ve dedicated a section in my shop to these items, you can find it in the menu bar down the left side of my shop or go here.

Back to School Stationery

Day 326/365It’s nearly that time of year; back to school! I have to admit that my favourite part of going back to school was stationery shopping. I think, once, I was even excited to get a geometry set. I love how all the components fit into the neat little tin. I was never very good at geometry, but I did love that set!

Summer Brights

Day 319/365I recently spent some time in my mother’s garden, which is an amazing space. I was mesmerized by her zinnias; so bright, cheery and colourful! While I didn’t snap a picture, preferring to just enjoy the moment, it stuck with me and inspired this small collection of my brightest red items! What flowers are brightest in your garden?
