Introducing the newest line of books from Sprouts Press: themed journals with printed pages!! (not just lined, but printed with prompts and details to record!)
Yesterday, over on Instagram, I shared the first in the series; The Correspondence Journal! Today I’m happy to share the next design: The Reader’s Log Book!! I’ll be launching them officially tomorrow, at the Etsy Made in Canada show here in Toronto (MaRS building, right by Queen’s Park subway station).
Stop by to check them out and say Hello! I’ll be at booth 47 from 10am – 6pm
Studio Sunday (on a Monday)
Holiday production is in full swing here at Sprouts Press HQ! Yesterday was a busy day of making miniature, wearable books! Keep your eyes peeled for the finished product, Mini Book Necklaces, to be replenished online soon!
This saturday, September 24, is Etsy Made in Canada! I’ll be a vendor at the MaRS building in downtown Toronto, find me at booth 47. Stop by and say hello; along with my other handbound books, I’ll have Mini Book Necklaces too!
Etsy Made in Canada!
That’s right! I’m a vendor at this year’s Etsy Made in Canada show, back for it’s 3rd year!!
You’ll find all sorts of beautifully hand crafted items at this show, and some vintage as well!
Bonus Tip: Be one of the first 100 people through the doors and get a free swag bag filled with handmade goodies!
Check out this year’s lookbook to get an idea of what to expect.

Studio Sunday (recapped on a tuesday)
It was a fun, creative weekend over here at Sprouts Press! After teaching a workshop at CBBAG (Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild) on Saturday, I also spent Sunday there with a lovely group of ladies dyeing various things (really, anything we could find) that most gorgeous shade of blue: indigo.
A sneak peek at the finished stack of hand dyed papers, each a bit different, all unique.

To see a fun little video inside this pile of papers, head over to my Instagram account and find the Indigo post!! It’s fun, I promise!!

Nearly all of these papers will wind up as journal covers over the coming months – keep your eyes peeled on the Sprouts Press Etsy shop. Or you can visit me in person at one of the three shows I’ll be vending at this fall.
