The week before a show
Day 350/365
The week or two leading up to a favourite show is a heady mix of excitement, panic, anticipation and bliss. At least for me it is.
I hope you’ll join me next Saturday, September 26 at the MaRS Building here in Toronto, to stop by and say Hello and check out all the amazing things being made, by hand, right here in the city.
Check out the facebook event page for details, here.
Etsy: Made in Canada, 1 week away!
Day 347/365
In just over 1 week it’s Etsy: Made in Canada!! I’m so excited to be a part of the fun, and there are some extra surprises planned this year!! (Stay tuned for details over the next week!!)
In the meantime, check out the vendor lookbook and do some pre-show shopping! And, if you’re an early bird, get in line early to be one of the first 100 visitors to get a swag bag packed with goodies, for FREE!!! (again, early bird gets the worm!)
For more info and details, check out the Toronto Etsy Street Team site here.
The countdown is on!
It’s official! The coundown is on to the 2nd annual Etsy Made in Canada: Toronto! The show will be at the MaRS building again this year, showcasing the best of the best of Canadian Etsy sellers here in the city!
There are some sweet surprises planned for this year, so keep your eyes peeled! And if you’re eager to get one of the free swag bags, be sure to get there early! There are only 100 of them and last year people started lining up hours in advance.
For more information, please see the Toronto Etsy Street Team’s website, here.
No local to Toronto? No problem! Etsy Made in Canada is a country-wide event, click here to find an event near you.
New in the Shop!
Day 324/365
I’m so excited to say that there are a couple of new Canadiana Journals in the shop, one of them, pictured above, with RED edging!! Of course, they are coptic stitched, for flexibility and ease of writing or sketching.
While the red journal showcases Quebec maps on the cover, the book pictured above features The Great Lakes. Complete with rustic brown edging, which reminds me of old school provincial park rangers, of course.
Interesting fact: you can find these books in the Travel Journals section of my online shop, as opposed to the Hard Cover Journals section. Just go here to see!
Etsy Made in Canada: Toronto Vendor LookBook!
As I mentioned last week, I’m so pleased to announce that I’m a part of the Etsy Made in Canada: Toronto show at the MaRS building!!
Curious to see what type of vendors will be there? No worries, the hard-working and super talented folks leading the Toronto Etsy Street Team have put together a look book of all the vendors! Amazing, right?! View it here.
For information about the show, see the Toronto Etsy Street Team’s website here.
New in the Shop
Day 318/365
Introducing the newest addition to the Indigo Journal series! I’ve tried something a little different with this cover, opting for a more organic colour block effect. I love how it turned out!!
As always, the covers are hand-dyed by yours truly, and the book is also handbound by me. I love this series of journals, they’re the perfect size to throw in a daybag and take with you, and pretty enough that whatever you put on the pages will feel special!

See you at the Brickworks!
Day 306/365
Join me today at the Evergreen Brickworks for the amazing Etsy Market! I’ll be there from 10am – 3pm with a selection of my products (as pictured below).
Pro tip: It’s also the sunday edition of the Brickworks farmers market; a more laid-back version of the busy saturday market, where you can get brunch!!
For more information about the show, go here.
